O'Neill has released the front zip Slasher Comp Vest featuring Nytrolite Foam. The innovative new design provides more buoyant, is lighter weight and dries quicker than any other vest in the line.
The newest foam in the line, nytrolite, is constructed from a highly specialized cross-linked polyethylene. By expanding the cells using Nitrogen the result is a foam that is up to three times lighter than traditional PVC foam, absorbs 15-20% less water, and is measurably more buoyant. All of these highlights allow O'Neill to use way less foam in each vest without having to worry about losing overall flotation.
Key features include a front zipper, segmented foam core, anatomical flex points and strategic armhole fit.
